Central Mass bills itself as the "Heart of New England" If it's shopping you're looking for there are some great choices.  The Shoppes at Blackstone Valley is the largest open-air shopping center in Central Massachusetts.  Brimfield Antiques & Collectible Show is the largest outdoor antique show in New England and happens for one week every May, July and September.  Vaillancourt Folk Art is one of America's last remaining Christmas collectible makers.  Visit Haymakers Country Store for a fine collection of country, primitive, folk art and whimsy. Discover the magic at Oakwood Christmas Barn. This circa 1853 barn is filled to the rafters with a wonderful assortment of ornaments, gifts, and accessories all year long.
